IvyHonk provides educational guidance, STEM research mentorship, college application coaching, and high school strategic planning. These policies are intended to clarify how IvyHonk works with students and families.
Educational Guidance Only
IvyHonk provides educational mentorship, academic planning, and strategic advising. IvyHonk does not guarantee admission to any college, acceptance to any academic program, publication in any journal, selection for any competition, scholarships, awards, grades, test scores, or any other specific outcome.
Academic Integrity
Students are responsible for completing their own work. IvyHonk does not write essays for students, fabricate research results, falsify data, complete assignments, submit applications, or misrepresent a student’s work.
IvyHonk’s role is to guide, mentor, review, and advise. Students remain responsible for their own learning, writing, research, decisions, and final submissions.
Research Mentorship Boundaries
For research mentorship, IvyHonk may help students explore topics, read literature, develop research questions, plan analysis, learn technical tools, interpret results, and prepare reports, posters, presentations, or manuscript-style drafts.
IvyHonk does not guarantee that a research project will result in publication, competition recognition, conference acceptance, or any external validation.
College Application Coaching Boundaries
For college application coaching, IvyHonk may help students with school list strategy, application positioning, activity review, essay brainstorming, essay feedback, interview preparation, and final application review.
IvyHonk does not write application essays or complete application forms on behalf of students. Students are responsible for ensuring that all application materials are truthful, accurate, and consistent with the rules of each college or application platform.
Student and Family Responsibilities
Students and families are responsible for providing accurate information, meeting agreed-upon deadlines, reviewing guidance carefully, and making final academic and application decisions.
Families are also responsible for confirming deadlines, eligibility requirements, competition rules, school policies, application requirements, and third-party terms.
External Costs
Students and families are responsible for external costs, including but not limited to college application fees, standardized testing fees, software subscriptions, research computing resources, data access fees, experimental materials, conference registration, publication fees, travel costs, tutoring, and third-party services.
Scheduling, Cancellations, and Refunds
Scheduling, cancellations, rescheduling, payment terms, and refund terms are governed by the service agreement or written arrangement agreed upon before services begin.
If a student or family needs to reschedule a session, they should provide advance notice whenever possible.
Privacy and Communications
IvyHonk may collect contact information submitted by families, such as parent name, student name, student grade, email address, phone number, service interest, and message content.
IvyHonk uses this information to respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, provide services, and communicate with families. IvyHonk does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Minors and Parent/Guardian Involvement
IvyHonk primarily works with high school students and their families. A parent or guardian should be involved in service inquiries, consultation scheduling, and service agreements.
